Boothbay Harbor is known as the boating capital of Maine, and was named as one of Yachting Magazine's '50 Best Towns'. Boasted as "the soul of the coast," our picturesque harbor is a popular cruising destination because of the bustling waterfront and all the amenities the harbor has to offer. The area's rocky coastline speckled with lighthouses, coves, inlets, and islands make it a boater's paradise. Boothbay is also home to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, rated #1 in the country by Trip Advisor and the newly renovated golf course at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club. Come discover why our town truly is one of Maine's treasures.

Located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, we are the only marina in the center of downtown. We have been happily serving boaters for over 25 years! At your doorstep are restaurants, shopping, and evening entertainment. Our marina is a short walk and close to anywhere you want to go in the harbor. The Boothbay Harbor Marina provides 40 slips with amenities including power, complementary ice, bathrooms with showers, washer/dryer, wifi, and dinghy dock. McSeagulls, Mine Oyster, and Herringbones are just a few of the restaurants located on Pier One alongside the marina. A footbridge connects the west side to the east side of the harbor and makes for a pleasant evening stroll.
ROSS MADDOCKS, DOCKMASTER. Ross worked as the Boothbay Harbormaster for 14 years. Before that, he served in the US Navy for 30 years. Ross contributes his time and expertise helping boaters at the marina and loves hearing about their adventures on the sea.
The Boothbay Harbor Marina is located at the head of the harbor. From Tumbler Island: Keep red buoy #8 to your starboard. Head NE and look for the spire on the Catholic Church. Head a little North of the spire and you will be in the channel. Go past green buoy #9 and you will see an opening on your port side about 100' wide. Turn to the North and head for the red shed with an American Flag and the blue Boothbay Harbor Marina sign.
