Winter often brings a quiet stillness that invites us to pause and reflect. As the cold settles in, we find ourselves looking back on the warmth of summer days, the laughter shared, the connections made, and the moments that linger. These memories do more than comfort us, they remind us of what gives life meaning. Reflection becomes a way to rediscover purpose, anchoring us to a sense of place and belonging that carries us through the colder months.

Winter’s slower pace naturally encourages
introspection. Without summer's constant activity, we finally have space to consider what really matters. When we look back on the past season, our minds drift not to the tasks or schedules, but to the people we met, the moments of joy, and the support we received. These reflections deepen our appreciation for our marina community.

Summer days at the marina are often filled with laughter, excitement, and shared experiences. Sometimes it's being "kidnapped" because someone insists you have to see the magnificent yacht anchored in the outer harbor.

Other times it's hiding out in the office during an impromptu downpour.

Or sharing in the simple delight of what lives under the docks. These moments weave together a rich tapestry of memories that shape how we see ourselves, our place in the world and the way we move forward in our work.

We rarely remember every detail of a day, but we vividly recall who made us laugh or what fills us with gratitude. Whether it was a spontaneous joke around the picnic table or shared awe on a summer evening, these moments remind us that joy is best experienced together.

Summer at the marina also reveals the kindness of others. Someone lending a helping hand to catch lines, offering a ride, lugging supplies up and down a ramp, or even the sharing of furry friends, these small acts of generosity remind us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

The people we meet and reconnect with each
summer shape our sense of belonging. Whether it’s an old friend or a new acquaintance, these connections anchor us to a place and a purpose. They remind us that life is not defined solely by individual achievements but by shared experiences and mutual support.
Winter’s reflection helps us prepare for the coming season. Appreciating summer’s gifts helps us to to move forward with clarity and purpose. And as this winter gives way to the promise of a new season, we look forward to seeing you and creating new memories together. ~ Kindly, Kim & Chris
